Wycombe Place

THE BRIEF:

Wycombe Place was the first development we launched back in 2016. Six free-standing homes, each individually designed rather than repeated from a single plan. Four bedrooms, every one en-suite, oriented north to hold the view toward Devil's Peak. Built to the same standard as every Oakhurst home since: complete on handover, nothing left to finish.

THE SITE:

Wycombe Place sits on a sub-divided site in the heart of Upper Constantia, with one entrance and exit serving all six homes.

The gardens were landscaped as part of the build rather than left for owners to finish, with automated irrigation fed by a communal borehole rather than municipal supply.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD:

Upper Constantia's day-to-day is set by what's within walking distance: Constantia Village for groceries and coffee, Virgin Active down the road, and greenbelt trails for cycling, hiking and riding that start almost at the gate.

It's a neighbourhood built around routine rather than occasion - the kind of place people settle into rather than pass through.

THE STANDARD:

Homes at Wycombe Place were finished to the Oakhurst standard: engineered stone countertops, SMEG appliances, underfloor heating, solar-heated geysers, and NHBRC registration on every unit.
