The Strawberry Lane Collection

THE BRIEF:

The Strawberry Lane Collection is our most recently launched development, three four-bedroom homes in Belle Constantia, each on a generous erf, each built to the standard that has defined every Oakhurst home before it.

The homes were designed by Gerd Weideman Architects, with whom we have worked closely last five years. The collaboration produces homes that hold their quality over time, not because of specification alone, but because of the thinking behind each decision.

The Strawberry Lane Collection is scheduled for completion in mid-2027 and sold out.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:

Constantia needs little introduction to those who know it. The valley sits at the foot of the Constantiaberg, sheltered from the city’s noise and pace by the mountain and the vineyards that have defined the area since the seventeenth century. Larger properties, established trees, and a quiet that is structural rather than circumstantial. Constantia Village, the wine estates, and the trails of Table Mountain National Park are all within a short drive.

For schools, the location is hard to beat: Sweet Valley, the American International School, Constantia Waldorf, and Reddam House are all within easy reach. Constantia Emporium and Constantia Village are minutes away. The M3 to the CBD and the airport is accessible without effort.

THE STANDARD:

Each home at Strawberry Lane is built to the full Oakhurst standard: engineered wood flooring, inverter systems with solar panels, custom designed joinery, all bedrooms en-suite, staff accommodation, pools included. Security infrastructure is integrated throughout — access control, alarms, perimeter walling and electric fencing, single entry point, and 24/7 on-site monitoring capability.
